OUR FOUNDER

A Caregiver Before a Founder

For Dyna R. Jones, caregiving isn’t simply an industry. It is ministry through service.

DYNA'S STORY

It Began at the Bedside.

After immigrating to the United States in 1999, Dyna R. Jones began working in service-oriented roles and eventually entered the caregiving profession.

She worked as a bathing aide and later became a private caregiver for an individual living with late-stage multiple sclerosis. Those experiences brought her into some of the most personal and vulnerable moments in another person's life.

They taught her that caregiving requires much more than completing tasks. It requires patience, humility, compassion, empathy, respect, and presence.

Most importantly, she learned that people may need assistance, but they never stop needing dignity.
FROM CAREGIVER TO FOUNDER

Care Became a Calling to Serve Families.

Dyna’s caregiving journey eventually led her to become an owner and operator of residential care homes and later to establish First Promise Care Services.

Over the years, she worked alongside seniors, adults with disabilities, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and families. Through those experiences, she came to understand something equally important: the person receiving care is not the only person who needs support.

Families carry the journey too.

Behind every request for care may be a daughter worried about her mother, a husband caring for his wife, a son wondering whether Dad is safe, or a parent advocating for an adult child.

Families are often balancing caregiving with work, children, finances, health, and everyday responsibilities.

Families don’t simply need caregivers. They need partners.
A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER

A Message From Dyna

When a family calls First Promise, I understand that there is usually a story behind that call. Maybe Mom has started needing more help. Maybe Dad should no longer be alone. Maybe your spouse’s needs have changed. Maybe you are supporting an adult family member who needs help becoming more independent.

Maybe you have been caring for someone for months or years and you are tired. Or maybe you simply do not know what kind of help you need yet.

I want you to know that we are here to listen.

You do not have to know everything about caregiving. You do not have to have every answer. And you do not have to carry every responsibility yourself.

Our role is to understand the person you love, listen to your family’s concerns, and help determine what type of support may be appropriate.

My hope is that when First Promise enters your life, you do not simply feel that you hired a caregiver or selected a service. I hope you feel that another caring person has joined your family’s circle of support.

Because your loved one matters.
Your family matters.
And the time you have together matters.

With a servant’s heart,

Dyna R. Jones
